Pny is Fire ?,#everythingjerseyThis is one of my rare reviews that I make for either really good products, or really bad products. Unfortunately this is one of the latter.I risked buying this SSD at such a low price and got what I paid for. Along with many other reviewers, this drive failed immediately. It will allow the system to mount, I can see and format the drive, I can even install and boot into Windows successfully. Everything seems fine at first.That's where the "functional" part stops. As soon as I perform a normal restart or shutdown the drive wipes itself. No longer boots, no longer has a Windows partition, no longer even listed as an MBT drive. It immediately becomes a "new" drive and needs to have a new volume created. I have attempted this three times and even performed a long format first with the same results. As long as the drive does not get turned off, it will work. Turn it off, gone.I replaced a smaller 6 year old XLR8 that still works perfect. I am a big fan of PNY, and I love the XLR8. Great quality and speed.I bought the PNY CS2311 SSD to replace the original hard drive in my system. I was able toinstall Windows 10 without any issues. I have been using it for about 3 weeks and the machineboots very quickly.I chose the PNYCS2311 SSD specifically for its high reliability of TBW and 5 year warranty.This SSD fit without any issues my Lat 2014 Mac mini. My computer is now so lightening fast I won't even be buying a new laptop as I had anticipated. Excellent price for the quality and speed of this drive. Highly recommended. Zero issues so far. I recommend you watch a video on Youtube on how to change the drive since its very involved.Looks like it's as fast or faster than my Crucial MX500. The first two images are PNY 500gb empty and the last one is the Crucial with operating system and a few other files on it. And the sata cables actually lock in unlike the Crucial where they don't.I have been using PNY SSDs in the past and this XLR8 fit my needs in terms of capacity, feature set, and performance. For application, I recently installed the drive in a 2012 MacBook Pro, which worked without a problem and installed macOS Catalina just fine.If you are looking for a good value in a product that does not cut corners, this is a good SSD for you.Hasta ahora ha sido mi percepción buena del producto, se desempeñado muy bien, ha cumplido mis expectativas de una unidad no común, sino más bien de un rendimiento superior al promedio.Buen producto y la calidad está en el precio
