手のひらに隠せるほど小さく、そしてHDDとは比較にならないほど高速です。おもちゃみたいな可愛らしい見た目に反して、防塵防滴耐衝撃性も備えてもいるらしいです（さすがに実験しようとは思えないですが）。HDDのデータのお引越しで７時間ぐらいフル稼働してましたが（といっても送信側に足を引っ張られて低速のデータ転送です）、発熱は問題なかったです。
