Awesome! Perfect system for meI have a habit of taking a 5-minute detour through electronics section of Walmart at least once per week to see their small PC gaming hardware selection. This Asus ROG 5700g with a RTX 3060 was just sitting on a shelf next to the gaming monitors with no price listed on the box or the shelf. Asked a worker to scan price it, she said it was $1,150. I went back home with my groceries and a few hours later did some price comparisons and realized that the lonesome computer sitting at Walmart was between $300 to $500 dollars less than the same models listed on Newegg and Amazon. I hurried back over and grabbed this thing despite the modest 20-30% performance increase over my existing system. Runs like a dream however I was at first concerned the thermals on the CPU get a little higher than what I am used to seeing at 85 degrees celsius under heavy load. After doing research I found that the entire 5xxx Ryzen series was designed with higher thermals in mind to run comfortably up to 90 degrees celsius without shortening the lifespan of the hardware. After setting it up, looked again on Walmart website and saw the price was now over $1,500. Not sure how all this happened, but feeling very satisfied with this purchase. The Ryzen 7 5700G is a good CPU because it also has integrated graphics. Which means, it does not need a GPU... but this PC comes with a 3060, so I feel like there's wasted money there. The CPU is good but that's the main selling point for it which this makes redundant. The price point on this is okay as well and I'll break it down here.CPU - 339$GPU - 329$SSD - 50$HDD - 50$RAM - 80$PSU - 60$Motherboard - 140$Total price for parts: 1,048$Price you pay: 1,679$Expect everything to be stock including fans... a crappy PSU + RAM as well.Overall, this is a good PC that can play any game you throw at it. I'd say it's ideal for 1440p gaming but not 4K gaming.
