As an IT Consultant I purchase a lot of equipment for my clients. The Dell laptops that were top tier items just a few years back are still very good choices for today's applications. Being able to purchase them at 1/3 to 1/4 the new price is a fantastic alternative to buying new. The E7470 with a core i5 or i7, 8gb or 16gb of RAM, and an SSD is a perfect configuration. Make sure to look for FHD or QHD resolution. I seem to receive the nicest units from TekRefurbs so I make a point of looking for them in the listings. For the very few problems I've had with a power supply or SSD, TekRefurbs has done everything they could to resolve the issue. I can easily recommend their refurb/renew products.
