No complaints on shipping - packing quality is great as always with ASUS. Specs are a little low for the price but you definitely get ASUS quality to compensate. My only complaint that a lot of manufacturers get wrong is the space key membrane sort of sticks with sidestroke presses. It’s hardly noticeable but it’s definitely a thing.Ok, so I *really* wanted to give this beast of a machine a 5-star rating. I really did. I just can't because of these reasons:1) It came with Windows 8 installed. Not 8.1. Do you know how long it takes to download and install 8.1? Like, forever. So that was annoying.2) If having to install Windows 8.1 wasn't bad enough, the 256GB SSD was partitioned! into an 80GB C: and 150GB D:. Which if you know anything about the Windows OS caused some issues. I had to re-partition the drive, which took a long time and caused a little stress because when you do that there are all kinds of warnings that talk about voided warranties and losing all your data, etc.Anyway, after having gotten through all that I've downloaded and installed Office and Creative Cloud and can say without hesitation this laptop is a complete beast. The speed of this computer is insane, not only for programs but for the web too. It renders websites incredibly fast and as a test I ran Photoshop, Chrome, PowerPoint, and Outlook and this thing was like "is that all you got?"Good Computer!But following things would have made it better: 1) C drive having only 30GB free space, since the 250GB SDD was splitted into two (wrong decision) 2) Cannot find where to get the Windows Activation key! (no windows DVD included) 3) Monitor says "Unknown" as the proper device driver not installed. I cannot see any Driver DVD along with.Update: High Radiation, Sound Jack not workingI bought two of these before realizing they won't have built in webcams. I've been being these Asus gaming laptops for 8 years and they always had built in webcams. That is unforgiveable at this point.You will love this... it is a great laptop. super fast, nice design and a lot of advantages against some other brands, screen is big and quite nice. If you like style go for an HP, if you prefer pay more and brand name go for an Alienware or a MSI, but if you want a combination of both take this you wont regret.Just an awesome machine fulfilled by an equally awesome vendor. The NB has performed flawlessly since it arrived, three days after order. With the SSD and Windows 8.1 Quick Start enabled, it boots in just a couple of seconds! It's not the latest GPU. But meets my needs quite well.I love this computer. I use it for video editing and it is exactly what I needed.It is awesome!!
