DO NOT BUY THIS TERRIBLE LAPTOP, IT SHOULD NEVER COST MORE THAN £250.Cons:- my unit arrived with a faulty spacebar function key, in order to turn off the backlight on the keyboard you have to press the Fn key + spacebar key. That didn't work on my laptop. The keyboard light was ON all the time. Even if you close the laptop lid it was always on. See pictures.- fan noise is unacceptable, fans would kick in even in idle, with nothing open on the laptop, and they were very loud, and they didn't sound like a regular fan in laptops, this laptop had this really annoying grinding noise coming out of the fan vents, terrible if you want to focus on some work of watching film and you have this grindy noise in the background all the time,- faulty headphone jack, I've tried two different pairs of headphones with built-in microphone and none of them worked, the computer simply wouldn't recognise the headset's microphone, tried changing settings etc. but all that was available was the laptop's microphone and I couldn't use the headset's one.- terrible and SLOW SSD, I was trying to copy around 100 gb worth of data from my external SSD and it took nearly 3 hours to complete, I thought there must be something wrong with the SSD, ran a test (see pictures attached) and to my great disappointment the results were absolutely terrible, most regular SSDs from 2010 (not even NVMe ones) have better performance than this machine.- and last things, the camera light, oh my God. When you turn on the camera a little LED will turn on to indicate that the camera is on, quite a common feature in many laptops. But this one is like a very powerful torch or a flashlight for taking photos, it will blind you during skype calls, it's way to strong. Who thought this will be a good idea to blind their users during video calls? Again, refer to pictures.Pros:- decent design,- decent screen,- comfortable keyboard to type on.DO NOT BUY THIS TERRIBLE LAPTOP, IT SHOULD NEVER COST MORE THAN £250.I HAVE RETURNED MINE AFTER FEW DAYS AND I BOUGHT ANOTHER DEVICE FOR £50 MORE AND IT'S 10 x BETTER THAN THIS TERRIBLE EXCUSE OF A LAPTOPDO NOT BUY IT
