Compatibility: This enclosure only works with M.2 SATA SSDs, not M.2 NVMe drives. Make sure your M.2 card has either a B key or a B+M key. NVMe drives typically have only an M key and will not physically fit or work because this enclosure's slot is for B key connections. I suspect some of the negative reviews are from people trying to fit NVMe drives into this SATA-only enclosure.2. Switching Modes: There’s a small slider inside to toggle between NGFF (for M.2 SATA) and mSATA (for mSATA drives). Make sure to set this correctly based on the type of drive you’re installing. I used an M.2 SATA drive, so I switched it to NGFF, and it worked right away.3.
